Job Description
The College of Physician and Surgeons Pakistan (CPSP) invites applications for the position of Junior Clerk BPS-11 in Islamabad. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates or individuals with minimal work experience to join a prestigious medical education institution.
Key Responsibilities:
- Maintaining and organizing official records, files, and documents in both physical and digital formats
- Performing data entry tasks with high accuracy and maintaining databases
- Managing correspondence including drafting, typing, and distributing official letters
- Handling incoming and outgoing mail, courier services, and document distribution
- Scheduling appointments and maintaining calendars for senior officers
- Assisting in preparing reports, presentations, and official documents
- Operating office equipment including computers, printers, scanners, and photocopiers
- Providing general administrative support to various departments
- Maintaining office supplies inventory and placing orders when necessary
- Assisting visitors and handling basic inquiries at reception when required
- Performing basic accounting tasks such as maintaining vouchers and receipts
- Ensuring confidentiality of sensitive information and maintaining professional conduct
- Coordinating with different departments for smooth office operations
Eligibility Criteria:
- Minimum qualification: Intermediate (FA/FSc) or equivalent
- Preference will be given to candidates with Bachelor’s degree (BA/BSc)
- Fresh graduates or candidates with 0-1 year of relevant experience
- Excellent computer skills including MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Typing speed of at least 30 words per minute
- Good communication skills in English and Urdu
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
- Attention to detail and accuracy in work
- Willingness to work in a professional office environment
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Age Limit:
18 to 28 years (relaxable for government employees up to 30 years and for candidates from special categories as per government rules)
Additional Requirements:
- Candidates must be Pakistani citizens
- Good character and sound health
- Proficiency in office software and basic computer applications
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
- Professional appearance and behavior
