Job Description
The Agricultural Biotechnology Research Institute is seeking dedicated and hardworking Field Assistants to support research activities and field operations. The selected candidates will work under the supervision of senior researchers and technical staff to assist in various agricultural biotechnology projects.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in field experiments and research trials
- Prepare and maintain experimental plots
- Collect and record data from field experiments
- Help with soil preparation, planting, and harvesting activities
- Maintain field equipment and research materials
- Assist in laboratory sample collection and processing
- Support data entry and basic analysis tasks
- Ensure proper documentation of field activities
- Follow safety protocols and maintain cleanliness in work areas
- Assist in the transportation of research materials
Eligibility Criteria
Candidates must meet the following requirements:
- Age between 18-30 years (relaxation as per government rules)
- Must be a Pakistani citizen
- Minimum qualification: Matriculation (10th grade) with science subjects
- Ability to work in outdoor conditions
- Good physical health and stamina
- Willingness to work in rural/agricultural areas
- Basic knowledge of agricultural practices preferred
Required Qualifications
- Matriculation (Science subjects) from a recognized board
- Diploma in Agriculture or related field (preferred but not mandatory)
- Basic computer literacy
- Valid driving license (beneficial but not required)
