Key Responsibilities

• Conduct routine laboratory tests and procedures according to established protocols
• Prepare and maintain laboratory equipment, ensuring proper calibration and functionality
• Collect, process, and analyze biological specimens including blood, urine, and tissue samples
• Maintain accurate records of test results, laboratory procedures, and quality control measures
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and proper handling of hazardous materials
• Assist in research projects by preparing samples and conducting specialized tests
• Maintain inventory of laboratory supplies and place orders when necessary
• Provide technical support to medical students and faculty members
• Perform quality control checks on laboratory equipment and reagents
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of laboratory workspace
• Prepare laboratory reports and documentation as required
• Assist in the development and implementation of new laboratory procedures
• Ensure proper disposal of medical waste according to established protocols
• Maintain confidentiality of patient information and test results
• Participate in laboratory meetings and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives

Eligibility Criteria

• Citizenship: Pakistani nationals only
• Age Limit: 21-30 years (age relaxation applicable as per government rules)
• Gender: Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply
• Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of relevant laboratory experience
• Physical Fitness: Candidates must be physically fit to perform laboratory duties
• Language: Proficiency in English and Urdu

Required Qualifications

• Diploma in Medical Laboratory Technology (DMLT) from a recognized institution
• Bachelor’s degree in Medical Laboratory Technology (BMLT) preferred
• Valid registration with Pakistan Medical Laboratory Technologists Board
• Computer literacy with basic knowledge of laboratory information systems
• Certification in laboratory safety and biohazard handling
