Job Overview

The Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP) is seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals for the position of Assistant Director at BPS-17. This is a significant opportunity for individuals with strong administrative, analytical, and leadership skills to contribute to Pakistan’s largest social safety net program. The selected candidates will be responsible for managing various aspects of program implementation, monitoring, and evaluation across assigned regions.

Key Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate field operations in assigned districts/regions
  • Monitor program implementation and ensure compliance with BISP policies and procedures
  • Prepare comprehensive reports on program progress, challenges, and recommendations
  • Conduct field visits to assess program effectiveness and identify areas for improvement
  • Coordinate with district administration, local government, and other stakeholders
  • Manage team of field staff and provide guidance on best practices
  • Analyze data and prepare performance metrics for senior management
  • Ensure timely disbursement of benefits to eligible beneficiaries
  • Address grievances and resolve issues at the field level
  • Participate in training and capacity building of field staff
  • Maintain documentation and records as per government regulations
  • Support in policy formulation and program design improvements
  • Ensure transparency and accountability in all operations
  • Coordinate with IT department for data management and reporting systems
  • Represent BISP in meetings with government officials and partner organizations

Eligibility Criteria

  • Citizenship: Pakistani nationals only
  • Age Limit: 25-35 years (relaxation as per government rules)
  • Gender: Both male and female candidates are encouraged to apply
  • Physical Fitness: Must be physically and mentally fit for field duties
  • Character: Good character with no criminal record
  • Experience: Minimum 5-7 years of relevant experience
  • Language: Proficiency in English and Urdu; knowledge of local languages beneficial
  • Computer Skills: Proficiency in MS Office and data management software
  • Willingness to travel extensively within assigned regions

Educational Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in relevant field from HEC recognized university
  • Minimum 2nd division or equivalent throughout academic career
