Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior researchers in conducting experiments related to agricultural biotechnology, plant genetics, and molecular biology
• Prepare laboratory samples, conduct tests, and maintain detailed records of experimental procedures and results
• Operate and maintain sophisticated laboratory equipment including PCR machines, spectrophotometers, and microscopes
• Analyze experimental data using statistical software and prepare comprehensive reports
• Maintain laboratory inventory, order supplies, and ensure proper storage of chemicals and biological materials
• Follow strict safety protocols and maintain compliance with laboratory regulations
• Assist in the preparation of research proposals, manuscripts, and presentations
• Train and supervise junior laboratory staff and interns
• Participate in field trials and data collection activities as required
• Contribute to the development of new research methodologies and protocols
